Martine Valois est professeure à la Faculté de droit de l’Université de Montréal et diplômée de cette université (LL. B. 1986 et LL. D. 2010) et de l’Université Harvard (LL. M. 1991). Membre du Barreau du Québec depuis 1988, elle a reçu la distinction d’Avocate émérite du Barreau en 2017. Ses intérêts de recherche comprennent l’indépendance judiciaire et décisionnelle, la gouvernance publique, les droits fondamentaux et la théorie des systèmes sociaux.
